Is every electronic evidence sent to forensic test

dear sir,

i would like to know if every kind of electronic evidence submitted before the court sent for forensic test, or is it on the discretion of the judge for the same, also i read in the forum that the evidence given should not be in provoked state, i.e. the person concerned should not be provoked in any manner to make a statement which can  be used as an evidence. is this true?
