ipc 338 accident case to lokadalat

In an car accident I was charged with IPC 338 and currently the case is in appearance stage. The victim party is not ready to settle the case. So, my lawyer is suggesting to move the case to lokadalat and close the case as soon as possible. Are there any loop holes in this or am I being misguided.

how and what will happen when this case is moved to lokadalat.
how is this different from normal trial process

Quick Summary
If you've been charged under IPC 338 following a car accident and the victim isn't settling, your lawyer might suggest a Lok Adalat. This discussion explores the pros and cons of this approach versus a traditional trial. It aims to clarify what happens in a Lok Adalat, how it differs from a court trial, and whether it's the best route for your case.

That is confession, it is better let the trail go. The other party can never prove the crime. Finally would come to a compromise.
