Interim stage in dv- documents

Hi Experts,

Accused in false DV case from wifey.

Matter at Interim Stage, her advocate asked for my Income Tax returns, (they already have my salary slip.).

Is it compulsory to produce them. He has asked the same under order 11 rule 12,14 of CPC.

How should i deny it.

Judge has told to have argument on this whether to produce documents or not in next hearing.

Please help....

Wifey Earning good, I have a daughter of 1.5 years staying with my wife.

You can't deny other wise presumption goes against you. find other defences.

Why are you hesitating to provide the documents called for?, do you feel that it will have an adverse impact to the case?  the non-production may have much more adverse impact, will it be okay then?, you have to argue upon her employment and other sources of her income, the interim amount can be shared by both in respect of child maintenance expenses owing to her employment and income from that source, this should be insisted while arguing your case.

What if wife is working and is earning 40k and she has admitted the same in court during her cross in some other case ?
