Interim Maintenance in PWDVA

Dear members

Before marriage, my wife used to earn around 40k per month, during marriage, she left her job, but later (while still being married) started to work again earning 45k per month.  Now we are separated.

At present, she is earning around 60,000 per month.

She filed a DV application against me (only) last year.

In her prayer for reliefs in the DV application, she has asked for 25k household expenses, 15k personal expenses, and 15k house rent.  Total 60k. (also she has asked for exorbitant compensation of the order of 50lakhs for mental cruelty etc.)

The court has asked us both to deposit our salary slips on the NDOH.  I am earning much more than her.

How should I proceed to defend myself against interim maintenance?

Thanks.
