Installation of parking shed

Dear Respected Members,

I am staying in an apartment. I have a covered car parking under the building. But there is a common area in front of my covered car parking. This common area is an entrance to my parking. The second floor terrace slab is above this common area. The heavy sun rays and rains comes into my covered car parking which is damaging my car. I would like to install shed to cover this common area entrance, but society is not allowing to do so.  The builder has installed sheds to other two corner sides of building's to cover the common areas and converted it into car parking. Can I directly install the shed to cover the common area in front of my covered parking? Is it allowed legally? Can you please provide me your valuable advice?

Regards, Deepak

Quick Summary
A resident in an apartment condominium is seeking advice on installing a shed to protect their car from sun and rain, as their covered parking space is exposed to the elements. The society is currently refusing permission, despite the builder having installed similar sheds elsewhere. The resident wants to know if they can proceed legally and what their options are.

What type of apartment i.e., private builders or cooperative society or any other is involved as different laws apply to each type of premises ?
