Infringement of patent

A friend of mine had a very novel idea which was then turned into a product, which he even got patented. A year later, when he opened a social media app, and saw that someone had published drawings of his product without his knowledge. Will it be considered infringement? If someone publishes drawings of a product he invented then will it be considered as infringement of patent?
