Informal rental arrangement . widow's right

Husband had an understanding [ not written agreement] with Landlord for shop space on rent. There are money receipts only. After husband's death, can widow enforce landlord to continue rental arrangement of space for continuing business. Kindly guide. Landlord has sold out property without any eviction notice to tenant? Now landlord has filed petition at District Court.

Regards

Jayanta

Quick Summary
This discussion concerns a widow's ability to continue an informal rental arrangement for a shop space after her husband's death, despite the lack of a written agreement. The landlord has sold the property and initiated court proceedings. The query seeks guidance on whether the widow can enforce the continuation of the rental arrangement based on existing rent receipts and the informal understanding.
