it would be great if someone could answer these two questions i have:
1.whether a show cause notice issued u/s 201 for non deduction of tax u/s 195, would be deemed as a proceeding? this is important since i plan to apply to the AAR for relief.
whether the answwer is yes or otherwise, it would be great if you could provide me with a citation of a judgement for the same.
2.can redemption of compulsorily convertible debentures the the year of the issue is in substance a buy back itself?
please provide a citation for the same too.
