Income certificate

Person  X is trying to apply for govt jobs. he belongs to the BC community.

For applying exam Person X  got Income Certificate and OBC Non creamy layer certificate.

After few days Person X came to know that his family income is high as a result he falls in the creamy layer.

Realizing that he didn't upload the certificates. Person A didn't use those certificates for any other purpose.

Will "person X" face any problems?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses concerns about obtaining an Income Certificate and an OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for government job applications. The individual in question realised their family income placed them in the 'creamy layer' and consequently did not submit these certificates. The core question is whether acquiring these documents, which stated a lower income, constitutes a crime like forgery, even if they were never used for any official purpose.

Thank you, sir.

Since "person X" has acquired Income certificate and OBC Non-Creamy layer Certificate stating less income from tahsildar office, will it be considered a crime(like forgery - IPC 465) even though "Person X" never used them for any purpose?

its the opposite sir. I am not after X. I am a well-wisher of that person. I don't want that person to get into trouble.

Just want to know that X is not in trouble.
