Include wife's name in flat registration

Dear Experts ,

I need help from you . I have booked a flat and done sale and construction agreement in my name . I have taken loan from a public sector bank in my name . 90 % of  loan is disbursed to builder .  Now I want to go for registration of flat and want to include my wife's name in the registration . She is a house wife .  Bank people  say it is almost impossible or I have to reprocess the loan along with her as co aplicant . Kindly guide me .

why u want to add ur wife name, when everything is done in your name till now,,

ur wife behavoiur will change after adding her ,, please note?

never add her,,

Sir,

Bank's contention is right because whenever you add your wife to the Agreement/conveyance of the flat or plot, thereupon she also entitle for the share of the flat or plot and in case, if no share is mentioned in the said Agreement, then she is equally entitled to the flat or plot. In the legal sense, it means she has become a part owner of the property.

It clearly suffices that, you are not the sole owner to the property but a co-owner.
