Importance of a will

Hi,

My father is relunctant to make a will.He has two sons myself and my brother

I wanted to know the importance of making a will. If a will is not made then will his assets get distributed equally amongst us (brothers)?

Please guide me on this

Thanks

dear vyas,

without will ,after your father his assests movable or imovable will be distrubuted among all legal heirs ,in your case between both of you brothers.

if your father made will of his assests in favour of one brother or any persons anem he will get entire and others will get nothing as according to your fathers will.

however your father can make will of only self acquired property not of ancessotral property and of his share only
