Section 3 of forest right reconition act 2006 render the ownnership of minor forest produce including kendu leaf. ownership includes right to disposal. However presently Kendu leaf trade is nationalised and it is since 1961. in this case the people do not have right to any free trade but to sell it to goverment. Can the people go for free trade of kenduleaf now.
