Quick Summary
This discussion concerns a user who lent money to a friend and is now seeking to file a Section 420 complaint for fraud after the friend failed to repay the loan. The user has already filed a complaint under Section 506 for threats made by the friend and his brother. Advice suggests that the non-repayment might be a civil matter unless the money was obtained through deception or false promises, which would constitute fraud.

It's not fraud. If your friend obtained the money by threatening it would be criminal case or he deceived by promising something great in return, that's fraud.

Now it's a civil case which you already filed. And, their threatening or cursing you, it is a different case and be termed as criminal.
