Husband willing to meet wife's suspected boyfriend

What could be the consequences if the husband is asking his wife to arrange a meet up of himself with the wife's suspected lover?
What precaution legally could the boyfriend take before agreeing to such meeting?
Is the husband trying to get some advantage out of the meeting?
Though the boy is not legally bound to meet the husband, does this have any legal consequences afterwards? Matters might run into physical fights as previous communications between the two have not been in good terms.
Please advice.

The posting suggests no legal elements or legal issues.

Are you the boyfriend concerned ? If so, it is advisable for you not only avoid such meeting but also to stop forever such friendship with someone else' wife, if you are concerned about your own safe life please.

What if both are friends for a decade even before the marriage, the husband I'll treats the wife and she is willing to continue as a friend whereas the husband looks down upon both? Are you advising that being a well wisher it is OK leave someone in misery? Previous advice by Mr P Venu is contradicting the one provided.

If it was only a frank friendship, there was no reason for hiding the same from the husband so far and also there may not have been any fear in your mind necessitating you to seek legal precautions from this forum, to be taken before meeting a friend's husband! Moreover, knowing well that her husband doesn't like or don't approve of such a friendship with you by his wife , inspite of that your eagerness to continue such a friendship with someone's wife is deplorable. Obviously, you may well be reason for the husband ill-treating his wife. Therefore, if you have any sincere concern for the happy family life your friend, you should be prudent enough to snap your friendship with her rather than making lives of all concerned in miserable situation. Even if the husband is I'll treating his wife as alleged, being a matter purely between the husband & wife, it is for them to settle amongst themselves rather than involving any outsider if both of them are serious enough to lead a peaceful family life.
