1. Flip the question and answer is very much there since 1955 !
2. BTW the flip question here is "if wife lies in Court; has any husband got any benefit since 1955, 1956, 1978 and 2006 and were he ever “suitably rewarded"? Does these landmark years sound familiar [bel baja] !
3. If yes, then a wife will surely get benefit but wordings such as "suitably rewarded" shall always come under touchstone of "equity" too; don't you think so?

if the wife is able to prove the salary as well as the job status of the husband, she will be granted favourable orders in her favour

it puts responsibility on the wife to bring the correct job status and salary of the husband, so that she can be given apprpriate maintenance.
