these kinds of laws cannot be referred to faltu kanoon...........these kanoons are made fo tap the votebank of women.........so dont call them faltu kanoon from the eyes of a politician............

The 498a was taken up by the previous government itself for amendment/repeal, however the woman behind the power then did not give a nod to it and taking cue,the women organisations and other NGOs supporting and were taking shield under the umbrella of the previous government never dared rather were in support of the law and insisted the same to remain unaltered.  Lets wait how far the latest politicians in power  handle the dangerous weapon designed exclusively for women by our country.
