My father purchased land (not agricultural) and registered on his mother's name..now we dont have any contacts with them and my father is bedriddden(on bed patient)..he cant sign and cant even speak..the original documents are missing..
is it possible to get transfer of that property on my mother name or on my name?
if so pls let me know the details how to get it?

if there is understanding between you and grandmother you can approch her to execute settlement deed other wise there is only way of filing suit against your grand mother for declaration stating that property purchases from sources arrived on income of your father

If your father's mother is agreeable to transfer the same, it is better in the name of your mother or yourself. If not the only alternative is to file a suit for declaration and possession( if the later is not with you). Try first a smooth dialogue with you father's mother
