To obtain bail for me and my family members, a close friend gave surety to court. He gave his original house documents. That was 5 months ago. Is there any way he can get the originals back from the court before the entire trial is over?

Can the house originals be taken back in exchange for something like tax receipt, etc? How to get it back BEFORE the trial is over?

i think there is no need to deposit the original documents of suerty on record, photocopy is sufficient.

you can ask the accused to file a application for substitution of surety or u can file the application for the withdrawal of the same
