How to recover excess paid amount from epfo

How it is excess.  When it was paid.

Instead of going for refund, you can adjust the excess amount paid with the current contibution.

Thanks for your response, for the adjustment EPFO can give any letter based on our request. (We have already send a request letter but they are not respond yet).

Mr. Kumar,

No need to get EPF official's approval for adjustment of excess payment. Infact you will never get their response...unfortunately this is way govt establishments work.

There is nothing illegal in adjusting excess payment. go ahead.
