How to make will for property and assett

I need help to understand how the will of the properties (Including Bank Balances ) can be made and is it necessary to make or register the will in the same location where the property is located or it can be done where I am residing now in a different state for the properties of different (Native) location which is in a different state.

Request your help to understand this as this topic is new to me.

It is not necessary that a Will be registered, but it should be executed in presence of two wotnesses.

Yes. The registration of a Will is optional. If you want to register the Will, you can register the will where you are presently residing if the properties are situated anywhere in India.
