I recently paid of a loan in a service corporative bank. I wanted the documents back and along with it there was something called ozhimuri adharam which i had to get. I am not in India and I dont know how to get it. Consulted someone back home and he has told me it will cost me Rs.8000 . My understanding was it should be some Rs.2000. He is talking about some tax that needs to be paid to the government and all… I dont understand. Any suggestions?
