how to exibit document

Re. Friends,

i am on behalf of accused. the ni case beetween husband ( accused) and wife ( complainant) .

i want to produce certified copy FIR of  IPC 498 . but court donot permit me to produce in cross examination of complainant .i don't want to examine accused as defence witness

please guide me how to exibit this document after cross exmination of complaint  on behalf of accused.

can i produce in further statment   and how.?

if i produce it court will give exibit.?

it is an urgent

you have a right to produce any documents during defence evidence and there is no need to examine accused as defence evidence and in order to exhibit the said documents you have to call the original record to compare the same at the time of exhibit the same. Please refer 1998 scc at present vol no. not remember where in it has been held by the hon'ble court that accused can submit document of any manner and in no case he is to be deprived from doing so.
