Hi experts,
Please advice on following...
My friends wife filed divorce on the basis of cruelty. How to deal with that as first hearing will get start in Next week. His lawyers suggested as get the counselling done and it then will file written statement.
What counselling actually does?
If both party says that they don't want live together then will court says going for Mutual consent?

No court will not going to direct you to go for MCD, if your both parties are ready for it, then you or your lawyer should have to draft such plaint not influencing for one side. there should not be bias for 1 party.
Counselling? it is formal procedure for spouse to settle the dispute between them by govt. counselor for saving a family
