I need some advise in finding out how i would be able to find whether a land is genuine or not.
The real estate who are selling it to me are showing a valid approval number (DTCP approval number as this plot is in sriperumbudur, near chennai) for this plot and have given other documents as well. However after reading articles about forgery / fraud documents, i have in the back of my mind question whether land i am buying is genuine or not? Can you please advise me as to how i would be able to check and is there anyway i can do that online? - Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I heard that if i awail a loan for purchase then as part of process all documents will be checked by people from the bank / loan provider. As i have my own company, bank who the real estate people work with are refusing to give me loan.Hence i am hoping to purchase by cash.
