No one avoid facing the trial if complaint is filed u/s 498A. If there is any weak points then application can be filed in the court for discharge or FIR can be challenged by filing a writ for quashing FIR

If the FIR lodge by your wife, you can not avoid,then you should abscond for the time being and get anticipatory bail by executing a Vaklatnama to a lawyer.After getting bail face the trial by proper defend.
