Though DP Act came into being in 1961 dowry givers prosecuted in 2008 for the first time. By now I have noticed about 15 cases from all over the country. None is prosecuted as yet.

Dowry givers should not be punished.
Otherwise Feminism in india will crumble, indian economy will go down.
We need more new laws like DP, IPC498A, Domestic Violece Act for the same purpose. Lawmakers should make more new laws....This is the real growth of the nation and judiciary. But Dowry givers never be punished.
