House owner not paying the deposit money

I was staying in the house in Sec 56, Gurgaon from Nov'16 till Jun'17... I paid 40K towards security deposit (2 months). 10k adjusted towards half month rent and another 10k he has given me in cash and rest he told me that he would transfer. Now he keeps changing dates but not giving money. 1. I have rental agreement with me 2. All the rents are paid by cheque Let me know how I could get back my money. Now I am in Bangalore as I have relocated from Gurgaon.

Mr Srikanth send a legal notice to recover the money. If he or she does not pay the amount, you can also file a case in court.
