Hindu succession act - share of sons wife in coparcenary property

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Can wife of son claim share in coparcenery property of her husband?

Quick Summary
Under the Hindu Succession Act, a son's wife does not have a direct claim to coparcenary property during her husband's lifetime. After her husband's death, she inherits a share from his portion as a legal heir, not as a coparcener. This means she is not considered a coparcener in the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) to which her husband belongs.

No, not at least during the lifetime of her husband.

Even after that she will be entitled to a share out of her husband's share as a legal heir and not as a coparcener.

A wife is not a coparcener in the HUF to which her husband belongs.

Dear Sir,

What rights does a Hindu wife (widow) have under HUF property after deaith of the Karta her husband?

Distribution of HUF proper upon death of the father amongs two sons and a mother?

Can the widow give her share of property at her will or distribution shall be goverened by HUF rules?
