A Christian marrying a Hindu according to Hindu form of marriage in Hindu temple will be null and void Hindu Marriage. For valid Hindu marriage both parties should be Hindus, the Christian has to convert to Hinduism by Shudhikaran which performed by Arya Samaj before Hindu marriage

The inter-religious marriage between parties following different religion is possible only according to Civil form of marriage under the Special Marriage Act,1954. The parties can issue one month notice to the Marriage Officer of the District where either or both have been living for at least one month at the time of giving notice under the Act and get married in presence of at least 3 witnesses, the marriage is registered and valid marriage certificate issued to the married couple.

Marriage is an institution and IT requires efforts from both sides to make marriage successful.

Both sides need to value the sanctity of marriage and be concious of hazards of failure....
