High court

I got divorce from family court. but my x-wf appeal in bombay high court and the case got admitted. all lawyers say it will take 5 years for final hearing. is that true?  is there a way to speed up ?

Mr. Julian,

Dont worry about the time lag, it depends upon the court for the time, but it is incorrect that it will take 5 years for final hearing, under normal circumstances, after admitting the appeal by the high court, it generally takes not more than a year to complete the final argument, so be rest assured.

If you have a valid and legal reason for hurrying through this case then approach your advocate with instruction to move the court for earlier hearing quoting such urgency.

thank you to both of you. can you suggest some valid reasons for speeding up the matter, based upon your knowledge and experience? I talked to my lawyer, but he says there is no reason on earth we can give to speed up the matter
