Sir,
I would like to know that five cheques of Rs 1760/- were bounced and the complainent filed the case and I had no information but as I came to thow through warrant I gave the complainent a amount opf Rs 15000/- against the said five cheques for which he gave me a reciept of Rs fifteen thousand. Now in his written wittness he had accepted that he has got the amount of Rs fifteen thouand. Now how to proceed further and under which authority I can get saved from the punishment under Section 138 of NIA. Please reply in detail and help me.
