What is the remedy for lengthy Cross-examination of a witness in a Civil matter extending to over 12 sessions? Apart from requesting the presiding officer (SDM), Is there any Judgment or procedural safe-guard to save the witness from malafidely long Cross-examinations with delibrate intention of harassment?
