Dear learned counsel,
Recently we got to know that the relationship between my brother and sister-in-law is not good. Their marriage is failing. Also that my brother has been beating her for quite sometime. Now if my sister-in-law files a case of harassment and domestic violence, then will my brother only be held liable or our entire family i.e my mother, my father and I all will be liable for the same? Are there any case laws supporting this?
Please suggest what should we do.

First thing is beating a woman is inhuman in general natural justice. All the family members are responsible under domestic violance act subject to the harassment involvement of family members. Husband can be main accused if she filed a case.
