Gst claim in itr submission

Sir,

I have paid GST @12% for purchase of Flat in nasik.

Shall i claimed the GST in ITR submission ? Kindly inform the section of ITR.

Hello Gunavant Patil,

As you know Income tax returns are filed when direct taxes are levied for instance income tax or corporation tax. GST being an indirect tax does not come under the ambit of Income tax return. So, if GST is paid on property for commercial purpose except for personal purpose only then it can be claimed as input tax credit but not under ITR as GST is an indirect tax.
