Gratuity eligibility in karnakata

Hi ,

I worked in IT company for more than 4 years 240 days .And this company is going to close their operations in india in couple of months. By the closing day i will be completing 4 years 363 days. Recently Chennai high court told 4 years 240 days is the eligibility for the Gratuity.But Management is saying In Karnataka it is 5years for the eligibility to get the Gratuity.

Please let me know.
