Gratuity eligibility after law amendment



I have joined organisation on 7th July 2014, I will be leaving on 22nd Feb 2019, So will i be eligible for gratuity,

Please help me out for same.

As the definition of continuous service in Industrial Dispute Act and Payment of Gratuity Act are synonymous, the same principal can be adopted under the act also and hence an employee rendering service of completed 5 years continuous service under sec.4(2)

Thanks for your response Akhilesh.
I think you are referring to gratuity act 1972.I was going through some of the documents and I found that, after Madras courts verdict on gratuity eligibility,The court has passed verdict stating if employee completes 4yrs and 240 days , it shall be considered as eligible
