Among the many positions in the Indian postal service, the Gramin Dak Sevak is a vital one. Indian Post GDS is responsible for delivering mail and other postal services to people in rural areas.
These positions are permanent because the selections for GDS positions serve as a hold for those for regular vacancies.
The Ministry of Communications works with the Department of Posts (DoP) and recruits candidates annually under Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). The GDS program is a central government job.
Now you decide whether to follow the rules of the employment or can violate?

Sir, I am asking if anyone can do regular courses managing his duty in Gds will there be a problem in future if he got a new job with the certificate??
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate) 09 February 2024
It is possible to pursue a regular degree while working a government job, but you typically need to seek permission from your employer. Some government employees opt for evening or weekend classes to balance work and studies.
He may attend evening classes, long distance education classes or through Correspondence Courses.
However, he can not attend regular classes in office time.

What type of regular course is opted by you ?
Does it not affect functioning of GDs ?
Whether department shall be benefitted by permitting GDs to attend regular classes ?
I do not think GDs can be permitted.

You seek permission from your department for doing the course. You will automatically get the answer. Any answer given by anybody here will not help you.
