My wife is giving me a General Power of Attorney. We are planning to sell a co-owned flat in Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) and buy a co-owned flat in Kolkata (West Bengal). If the GPoA is drawn on a Rs. 500 Maharashtra stamp paper and notarised in Navi Mumbai, can it be used for purchasing the Kolkata flat also? Please advise.
