Gpa

Dear Team,

I have property jointly owned with my wife, now i want to transfer all the rights of that property in my wife name, can i do this by issuing GPA in her name...Please advice.

Quick Summary
A user is asking if they can transfer their share of jointly owned property to their wife by issuing a General Power of Attorney (GPA) in her name. Another user suggests that a Release Deed, where the husband relinquishes all his rights, title, and interest in favour of his wife, would be the appropriate legal method.

You can execute a Release Deed relinquishing all your rights, title, interest in favour of her.
