Power of Attorney is given in the name of individuals, and their roles/designations/status may not be a bar in giving POA.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (advocate) 07 March 2022
Yes,seller can appoint purchaser as his attorney and give him poa but purchaser should be individual as person and not firm or company or corporation.
Dr J C Vashista (Advocate) 08 March 2022
What is the relevance of granting PoA to a purchaser ?
Nagesh (private empolyment) 08 March 2022
Case in detail : (A) is the absolute owner of the property. And he is selling the property to (B) and his wife (C) (both are individuals)
(A) being the seller has executed a GPA in favour of (B) (one of the purchaser) empowering him to present and admit the execution of the the Sale Deed. (it appears more or less like a Special Power of Attorney)
Is that okay ?
