Government employee earn rental income by renting his car ..

Respected experts, I want to know can government employee earn rental income by renting his car ..?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether a government employee can legally earn rental income by renting out their car. The consensus is that it is permissible, especially if the car was registered for commercial purposes before employment began. This prior registration is not seen as a new activity that would cause concern.

Is it registered for commercial purposes?

There is nothing to be worried about giving your car for rental services even though you are a government servant

This has been going on from the period of your unemployment hence it is not a new thing therefore you may not be concerned about this.
