Getting patent

CAn a Charitable society get patent registered in it's name and raise it's corpus fund out of it?

Dear Sapna,

 

A charitable society can certainly get a patent registered in its name since there is nothing to suggest otherwise. Of course, the by-laws of the society would have to be checked.
