General query

dear lawyers/experts - when you are acquitted from criminal charges/after trial, what will happen to your case document? will court destroy the complete case doc along with evidence etc. after appeal is expired?

if i am wrong, what will court actually do as per their process? please highlight me.

All case documents are consigned to the record room after conviction or aquittal. They remain in the courts records in paper and electronic scanned format until the Supreme Court issues guidelines for the disposal of the paper documents. Electronic format of the case documents remain with the court for all time by all courts.
