Friend turn foe 4 money

dear Sirs,

A friend of mine given me only promissory note for rs 2 lakh loan taken. no cheque other doc. when insisted on cheque he said pronmissory note is as good as cheque is it true what other now from past few month i been ignored and neglected by him when insisted for payment

promissory note is well enough to take legal action in case if he refuses to pay back the money.send him a notice asking him to pay back the money along with a copy of the promissory note
