Hi All,
I am a freelancer software developer, and have recently received an offer to develop an MLM software. I would like to know, if I develop this software, and the company gets in a legal problem later, due to its nature of the business... Am I also going to face some problem ? Do I need to check the validity of the company... like it is registered, legal, valid, etc. ?

Yes, it's very important to check the validity and background of the compnay you are going to work at because you may end up working at an illegal company and when the company suddenly shuts down, you may not get your salary or any perks of the job.
