Former DGP Rathore, found guilty after 19 years

Lawyer

Former DGP of Haryana, Rathore was found guilty by the special Magistrate after 19 years after he was accused of molesting young tennis player, Ruchika and sixteen years after the girl killed herself with that mental agony. He was given punishment of 6-month RI and a fine of 1000/-.

Now, the girl is not alive to see that justice is not denied, though delayed.

But the question is, "why wasn't he charged of abetment of suicide under IPC?"

Every question starts with a capital W and every answer with a capital N.

Which police officer in Haryana had the guts to file charge of murder, rape, abatement to suicide against his own DGP? Are we living in a fool's paradise? Saw these roadside politician, read Chautala, shamelessly defending him?

Will it become another Jessica Lall media case? What is NCW doing? Does Giriji Vyas inspire confidence?

Media is showing him laughing all the way. Neither the media nor Rathod has any shame left.

Channels like Times Now are vigorously following up this case and forcing re-opening. However again re-investigation--again charge sheet--again cases---another 19 years!!

Is it good for legal profession in a way of long term business or shameful that there is collapse of last respected institute-judiciary ?

God bless this nation.

By crying hoarse, the legal system is not changed. Yes, I agree with Mr. Sathe, years may roll bye but nothing will happen.

Justice Bilal Kazi, who retired recently, said that right there are incompetent persons manning judiciary right from magistrates to supreme court judges.

Why blame corrupt politicians, police and bureaucracy?

This is not the law of the country.

Each one of them should be tied to the nearest lamp post and lashed.

But that is exactly what the Aam Admi wants.
