Forgery

Hello,

I have a question that , I study in an" IIT ", and if the college authorities resuticate a student which does not seems fair, like in my case , if it happens so then am I free to file a case against the concerned collge authorities or not, I am asking this because the institution is IIT which is an autonomus institute.

I have written my whole story below, please read and then Answer .

I had some problem in my right anckle, I went to a doctor, he checkd all and ,wrote the results of the tests performed on a paper, and signed it. after a few days, I wrote "rest" on that paper, without any genuine cause, but for pasting it on my wall, so that It would remind me that what had happened with me , and what I had to do.(motivational purpose) . then after some days, some one in my college told me that ,that doctors fee is reimbursable, and then I went for that, and attached that report of added "rest" in the re imbursement form.

then the problem that came is now, when I got back to the same doctor and he watched that rest, and started shouting on me. saying that I had done some forgery,

I want to know that, I used that paper only for reimbursment purpose, I did not used that "rest" word for purpose of cheating.
My final question is , that Am I in danger of any illegal issue.

I want to ask that, will that added "rest" , may cause any case of fraud or forgery with the institute caused by me. because I used that report for re imbursement of money spent for the doctors fee.???

not possible to succesfully advise without seeing papers and your descripttion is also nto very clear.

@Sudhi Sir,

There are not any large papers, only one doctors prescriptttion, which states problem about my injury, and I added , the word "rest" on that prescriptttion where doctor had his signature,
And sir please let me know, now what else should I mention, to make it more clearer.

I am a student in an IIT, and this incident happened with me, so my concern is that , if that doctor complaints to IIT authorities, then ,Am I in any danger, because I just used that paper only for re imbursement purpose because I only had that modified paper left with me at that time, and I did not mis used that word "rest" at any place.

don't worry,this is not a big issue,Your doctor can not able to file a case against you.but he can complain to a disciplinary authority of your college,which can take a small disciplinary action against you.there is not a big need to worry.

I have one more question , that If I write something on a doctors prescripttion above the signature of the doctor, And keep that paper with me, then have I done something illegal .??
