Forge signatures in loan agreement of nbfc

Hello,

I did took a loan from NBFC on July 2024 and was repaying the emi regularly. September 2025 i came to know that on the said loan my wife is a co applicant without her consent (we came to know as her credit card enquiry got rejected).

We did shared the KYC of my wife for reference and also paid the emi on time as I took the loan and it is my responsibility to pay back.

Now when I visited the office of NBFC in pune i came to know that even my signatures are forged in the aggreement even of my wife. (During loan aadhar based esign was done for me) But now they say that they have a manual signed agreement with them and both signs are incorrect.

Still claiming with email that as I payed for 17momths that means I had accepted the terms. How it can be claimed in this way.

Please help me with what should be next steps from my side and also how to ask them to give me the copy of aggreement so that I can file a police complaint

Forgery is a criminal offence.

You may collect strong evidence and lodge a criminal complaint against the manager for the crime' committed by the NBFC

Your wife can take up the issue and seek remedies, civil as well criminal.

Take copies of all documents used by the NBFC for advancement of loan, contact, consult and engage a local predent lawyer and file criminal complaint.
