Foreign students

Can a foreign student write the AIBE?
Now that the BCI has allowed foreign lawyers to practice in India?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether foreign students studying in India can take the All India Bar Examination (AIBE). While foreign lawyers are now permitted to practice in India, there are currently no specific rules or guidelines allowing foreign nationals to sit for the AIBE. This is particularly relevant for students who need to pass the exam in India to practice in their home country.

In this instance, the student is studying in India but is not an Indian citizen, and it's a requirement for the home country to sit for the exams Where you have studied before being allowed to practice in the home country.
