Human Rights violations could only be against the Government and its agencies i.e. the State, not against private persons or entities. Who are the respondents to the complaint filed? What are the remedies sought?

Hello Sir,

First of all thanks for your valid point mentioned in the post.

The respondents are public limited company, not a state, But i have gone through few of High Court judgements wehre they have clearly stated that Human Rights violations can be prosecuted even against the private individual by Human Rights Court designated under Sec-30 of PHR Act ,1993

The human rights court has admitted the case against the company but there is not clarity in the act subjecting to which offence?

Please help in further clarity

Regards
